Acupuncturist | Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Julian is a qualified acupuncturist from the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM) with a background in Traditional Oriental Medicine Theories. After graduating Julian continued his internship and training in Seoul, South Korea under the guidance of leading specialists in Korean Saam Acupuncture and Natural Herbal Therapy.
He is particularly interested in musculoskeletal problems and neurological disorders. He believes that Acupuncture can help to relieve not only trauma injuries, but also internal disorders relating to mental and emotional problems such as insomnia, depression, and other types of chronic problems.
He believes in using therapy methods that treat the body as a whole, rather than just dealing with the part of the body that is ill or injured. His philosophy of holistic treatment is that optimal health can be achieved by anyone and that the way to achieve optimal health is through finding balance in one’s own life – mentally, emotionally and physically.
Julian uses a variety of acupuncture needling techniques as well as cupping, moxibustion, and acupressure treatments.
