Kirsten completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago. She then went on to postgraduate studies in Western Acupuncture and finally a Masters in Rehabilitation at the Auckland University of Technology. She is also a certified Health Coach which encompasses qualifications in nutrition, exercise science, mental well-being, and mindset coaching.

Kirsten has a wealth of knowledge from her varied experience over the past 14 years in both the public and private sectors in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Over her career, she has worked with a wide range of individuals and teams including athletes, workplaces, and multi-disciplinary teams supporting clients with complex injuries.

Kirsten’s strength lies in her ability to tailor your treatment and recovery plan to where you are at. Her additional coaching skills allow her to take a broader look at your situation and help you to prepare a truly holistic recovery or performance plan. It doesn’t matter if you are starting from scratch or searching for that extra few percent at the top of your game, she will work with you to make sure you achieve your goals.

Outside of work, Kirsten is also a busy mum, wife, and CrossFit coach. She is an active person who likes to make the most of her fitness in the outdoors with her family and friends. She is currently training for The Spirited Women’s Adventure Race in 2022, amidst her ongoing project of finding that elusive work-life balance.

  • New Zealand Breakers Basketball team – 6 years as the Lead Physio and Health & Wellness Manager
  • Basketball New Zealand – 4 years as Health Manager
  • New Zealand Men’s Basketball team (Tall Blacks) – Current position for the past 8 years
